     Social and business networking were the order of the morning as Urban Influence Magazine and the Dallas Urban League Young Professionals collaborated to bring the magazine’s annual Women of Influence Breakfast Series to Dallas on October 26 at the African American Museum.

     A powerful panel of local business executives shared their strategies for success and offer advice on building careers and businesses during the informative special event titled Business Success Strategies: Women Who Make it Happen.

The speakers were:
*Yolanda Bruce Brooks, Psy.D., professional development consultant, clinical, consulting and sports psychology
*Fritzi Gouldsby Woods, president and CEO of PrimeSource Food Service Equipment
*L. Michelle Smith, president and CEO of m strategies inc. and
*Joy Wallace, president and CEO of J.O.Y. Foods Inc.

Experts Excel At Breakfast Series in Dallas


Nearly 150 professional women (and a few men) benefitted from participating in the business exchange and networking forum for African American women to meet, support and encourage fellow professionals. The event brings together an intimate group of key professionals for a meaningful conversation on topics ranging from financial empowerment to entrepreneur strategies to leadership development.
